Dan has over twenty years of experience in trailer editing and creative direction for game marketing content. Prior to co-founding The TrailerFarm with his brother Tony, Dan held in-house positions at Disney and EA. He has a track record of producing and directing award-winning content for a wide range of game developers and publishers, including SEGA, Gearbox, Square Enix, Rovio, and many more.
Tony has worked within the video game and creative agency sectors for two decades, first as an artist for Rockstar and then Disney, before co-founding The TrailerFarm with his brother Dan. His work has brought millions of views to some of the biggest names in games for clients including Warner Brothers, Sony, ITV and countless more.
Ron has been listed in both the UK top 100 people in video games and in the top 100 in digital media. Over the last 20 years, Ron has worked as a creative leader on three blockbuster Marvel movies, over 30 video games and with major IP owners including J. K. Rowling, Warner Bros, Sony and Microsoft. In 2009 Ron founded visual design company, Atomhawk, building it from a team of four into an internationally renowned brand with studios in the UK and Canada. In June 2017 he negotiated the acquisition of Atomhawk by Sumo Digital and joined their management team. In December 2017 the team floated the combined group on AIM as Sumo Group PLC.
Pete is a former journalist who has held senior in-house editorial positions for global developers and publishers, Codemasters and Crytek. Pete has most recently provided services as a Script Writer and Creative Lead for The TrailerFarm. His diverse portfolio of work has represented IP from publishers including EA, SEGA, Devolver Digital and THQ Nordic.
Danielle oversees studio operations, including production and account management, as well as joining the executive leadership group for business planning and company strategy. She brings extensive experience of planning and managing creative projects across the games and entertainment industries. Prior to joining Big Thursday, Danielle worked in production management roles at Atomhawk and Emerald City Games. She has an in-depth understanding of project management and creative processes, is adept at implementing and improving company-wide systems, and collaborates effectively with creative teams and high profile clients to deliver exceptional results on time and on budget.
Ava joins Big Thursday Creative as our Brighton HQ Office Manager. She brings five years of experience in her field to the company, including roles for Domestic and General and Wenham Carter Group, where she previously won several inhouse business management awards. Ava has a large focus on events, contract management and most importantly colleague well-being. She also brings a love for crafting, party-planning, and True Crime Podcasts to the team.
Rachel is our Social Media Manager. She has 4 years experience as a fulltime content creator focused on video games, honing her skills in marketing across the internet. As a Twitch streamer and YouTube creator, she has worked with many large brands such as Sony, Ubisoft, and Square Enix. She has also been working with us on game capture for a short time. Previously Rachel has worked as a presenter, editor and writer for YouTube channel WhatCulture Gaming, and has experience in a range of skills from wedding video editing to running her own merch store. Mike has been creating motion graphics, user interface and graphic design for the last ten years, working with some of the biggest names in video games. Highlights have include motion graphics work for Mortal Kombat 11 and Injustice 2, both for Warner Bros’ NetherRealm studio, and Overkill’s The Walking Dead. Mike also played an integral role on the user interface design for Halo Infinite, Call of Duty: Vanguard and EVE: Valkyrie.
Aaron has worked in games for over 11 years. His career began at Nintendo of Europe working on games such as Super Mario 3D Land & Zelda: Skyward Sword as a game capture artist. Aaron then built his career as a Video Editor for studios including Crytek, Rockstar and Rare before becoming Senior Cinematic Artist at Rebellion and then working for Sunny Side Up. Aaron is a rare talent able to work in-engine whilst producing the cinematics and edits with impact.
For the past five years, Joe has worked as a capture artist working for companies including The TrailerFarm and Maverick Media. Now Joe brings his passion for all things video games and a deep understanding of how to work with in-development builds to Big Thursday Creative. Joe is experienced in using his cinematic eye to capture footage that shows games in their best light and directing capture sessions with multiple artists.
Originally trained in the fine arts, George brings nine years’ experience as a CG artist to Big Thursday Creative. His work includes creating characters and environments for animated TV shows, TV adverts and game trailers. An expert in Unreal, he has also produced photo-real Virtual Production Projects for companies including ITV and Carbon Digital and his work for legendary ITV soap Coronation Street went on to win awards. George combines technical knowledge with artistic skill and a huge passion for his craft. He’s also a big fan of the Last of Us games, continues to paint and sculpt in his spare time, and is the first member of the team to have his work hung in the Lowry!
Lizzie combines an eye for detail and scheduling with a passion for creative in her role as Associate Producer at Big Thursday. A former producer and director of theatre productions at the Brighton Fringe Theatre Festival, she has also previously worked as a virtual personal assistant and as a freelance video editor. Lizzie is an experienced project planner, holds a Masters of Research (MRes) focused in Arts and Cultural Research from the University of Brighton, and has a lifelong passion for video games!
Brian has a decade’s worth of experience creating motion graphics and editing video content for game trailers, logo idents and game engines, in-house for GameMaker creators YoYo Games and as a freelancer since 2016. Brian has also lectured on UX/UI Design for Games on a part-time basis at Vancouver Film School.
Star Wars fan Sam has worked on projects for global brands including Intel, Peroni, Wrangler and Ford. His career includes positions at The Walt Disney Company and agency Shoot To Kill Studios and he has also freelanced for 20th Century Fox and Channel 4 amongst others. Sam’s portfolio includes editing TV commercials and documentaries, and he is experienced in producing social content, creative typography and motion graphics. He also brings a passion for Day-Z, climbing, paddle boarding and fancy coffee to the studio!
